my work
about me
hi, i'm lex.

Effective communication is at the core of all of my passions, and as an INFJ, I am happiest when I can use my creativity to solve problems and connect with people.
So, it's no surprise that I am a Communication and Advertising student at Portland State University, where I also work as a Media & PR assistant in the Department of Communication.
I also love what I do as the Marketing & Creative Assistant for Uncorked Media, which produces the James Beard award-winning podcast, The Four Top, and books by wine expert Katherine Cole, including the upcoming Sparkling Wine Anytime.
With deep empathy and a keen eye for design and detail, my favorite part of any creative project is figuring out how to deliver a message in a manner that helps others see the subject as it desires or deserves to be seen. This is why I also enjoy doing freelance branding, web design, and copywriting in my free time and why I ultimately want to work in Brand Management or Creative Direction.
